Action Packs 2004

On November 6th our club Gathered together to fill the Voice of the Martyrs "Action Packs" with clothing etc... such as: Blankets, Jackets, Sweaters, Gloves and Mittens, Knit Hats, Socks, T-Shirts, Bed Sheets, Towels, and Soap. We were so blessed to be able to do this for our persecuted brothers and sisters in Pakistan and Afghanistan, even though it was such a little thing :-(

In Pakistan and Afghanistan, it is not unusual for radical Muslim groups to attack, persecute or harass Christians. Many radical Muslims believe they are doing their god (Allah) a favor by destroying anyone who does not convert to Islam.  Pakistani and Afghan Christians face difficulties not only from religious persecution, but also from hardships in every aspect of daily life. The Muslim majority in both nations controls the government, jobs, and schools, therefore, it is very difficult for the small Christian minority to improve life for themselves and their families. Despite the many obstacles, Pakistani and Afghan Christians are standing strong. Their faith continues to inspire us.
